Boho Babe Series x Paisley & Lace

Hey everyone, long time no blog!
As you know, Coachella has passed, and I sadly did not attend. ): It's on my Bucketlist to experience the festival. I am absolutely in love love love with the concept of Coachella: music, celebrities, dancing, FOOD, and most importantly the outfits! Therefore, I decided to create a Coachella Inspired LOOKBOOK or a Boho kind of vibe LOOKBOOK.

---

Outfit Idea #1
Mixing Prints: Paisley & Lace

Some of the key concepts to Coachella or Bohemian fashion is to be bold, unique, and mixed prints.

Feathers are a must!
This beautiful necklace went perfect with the outfit and matched my color scheme.
I am in love with lace, and these shorts are high to low. (Longer in the back)

For this outfit, I decided to wear a beautiful paisley top and pair it with some lace shorts. I matched my jewelry with my color scheme hence the purple and black necklace and black bracelet. I kept this outfit boho chic and casual. Perfect for rocking out to your fave bands, going out to lunch, or even on a casual date.

Cotton Candy Hues

Hey everyone! Today's #FashionFriday #OOTD has got to be perfect for Spring! It's bright, it's flowy, and not to mention it's totes chic!

I realized I haven't been wearing many bright colors lately, and most of the clothes I got over Spring break consisted of black and white, and more black, lol, so then came this outfit.
I am in love with this blouse because it's very casual, yet it has a flirty side (literally) When turned to the side it has a little cut out from high to low. I am also loving the peachy/coral/cotton candy toned colors hence the title Cotton Candy Hues. I just thought that this outfit sort of reminded me of Cotton Candy haha. As for bottoms, I am wearing some White pants with some cool, abstract patterns below the pockets. (Which also goes with the color scheme). I've been loving gold jewelry so I had to cooperate some of that into this outfit. I have on some gold and coral jewels that compliment the outfit. For the shoes, you have to match the belt to the shoe (for the most part) so I went with these super comfortable brown and white wedges.

For my hair I decided to put it into a bun since I've been frying my hair pretty much every single day, and we don't want even more split ends right? Leave a comment and like this post if you would like to see a tutorial on how I make this quick and easy bun if you're running late to school/work/wherever.

CSUN X Warner Bros

Hey everyone! Earlier this week I went on a trip to visit CSUN (California State University of Northridge) as well as having the great opportunity of visitng and touring the Warner Bros. Studios!

---

The campus of CSUN was very nice. I even found out that the outside of the library was used in the movie Sky High! Also Zac Efron filmed a movie at the school as well! :o *heart eyes emoji* haha

The highlight of the trip probably had to be the Warner Bros. Tour mainly because I got the chance to be on the set of Rosewood from Pretty Little Liars!! I even got to see Emily Field's house AND went inside!! (Which was also the house of Ross and Monica in FRIENDS). I was totally freaking out and fan-girling. Lol. I also got the chance to be on the set of FRIENDS' Central Perk AND sat on the couch where the stars themselves had bestowed upon lol. (I do apologize that some of the pictures have bad quality because most were taken on my phone, but hey, it's better than nothing!)

I wanted to wear an outfit that was casual, but chic. I thought the joggers would be perfect and comfortable, which are also in style for the lazy, yet fashionable gal. I paired it with a float and light crop top to add more flare to the look.

City of Dreams

Hey everyone, long time no blog! I've even super busy with school. It's the most busiest time of the year for this high school student. Registering for the SAT and AP exams, staying up long hours occupied with homework and so on. This will be the last #fashionfriday #ootd post of the month. Sad face ): But don't worry, I will be posting more!

---

As you can tell by the title of this post I'm talkin' about the city of dreams; New York. It says so on my dress! Haha
"Nueva York City - cuidad de Los sueños"

For this outfit I was inspired by the street style of NYC. I am just infatuated with the diversity of fashion there. The best of the best reside in the big city, and most importantly, each fashionista there has their own individual style that makes them unique and beautiful.

---

---

I saw this dress and knew I had to get it. It's edgy. It's chic. It's different. I am in love with the fishnet type material found at the bottom of the dress. It gives an extra bit of flair and adds to the simplicity of the dress. I've noticed T-shirt dresses are coming to style. It's hard not to fall in love with the comfortable material, and it's quick and easy to slip on for the lazy gal (Like myself) Or it you're in a hurry, but still want to dress up. (Also like myself). For accessories I kept it simple and wore a black and white bracelet with traces of gold and another gold bracelet on top. I also paired the outfit with my brown Steve Madden purse with gold accents to go along with my shoes and jewelry. I kept with the black and white theme with hints of gold and brown. I am in love with my white and brown Dolce Vita wedges/heels! They are surprisingly super comfortable and did I mention CUTE?!

Preppy Chic

Hi everyone! (2 posts in one day?! What?? Yes, I've been lagging with ootds, so I decided why not?) For today's #FashionFriday I decided to go with a polished and chic look.

Blazer | Forever 21
Blouse | H&M
Skirt | Zara
Shoes | Nordstrom
Belt | Urban Outfitters
Earrings | Lauren Conrad
Necklace | Aunt's

---

I wore a plain navy blue blouse and a black blazer on top. I decided to wear my navy blue plaid skirt paired with a black belt to give a better shape to my body. I guess plaid skirts are kind of a big trend now, aren't they? And of course I had to wear some pearls to tie off that classy, preppy look. As for shoes, I wore some gray wedges.

Mint and Spring

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last fashion post, and I never had the chance to post my outfit from the other day, so I'll upload that one as well soon.

This week {in California} has had the perfect weather that every Californian knows and loves. Though chilly in the mornings, it cools down to nice fresh afternoons.

---

For today's #chicandunique ootd I really wanted to wear this beautiful mint floral dress from Urban Outfitters. This dress just screams Spring. Florals? Check. Pastel colors? Check. Cuteness? Double check! Haha, I really love the mint color (as well as any pastel colors). And pastels are a huge Spring trend (duh). Also, what girl doesn't love flowers? I think I may have an addiction to floral prints. Whoops.

Dress | Urban Outfitters
Necklace | American Eagle
Cardigan | Nordstrom

I paired the dress with a beige knit cardigan since it gets chilly in the mornings. (Also, the back of the dress is pretty revealing) I didn't wear any accessories besides dainty pearl earrings because I wanted the main focus to be the beauty of the dress. I also threw on a chestnut brown belt to match my boots as well as giving more shape to my body.

Healthy Brekkie Omelette

Good morning everyone! I'm glad it's finally March, (almost Spring break, my birth month, and only two more months until Summer!)

Today I decided why not make a nice healthy breakfast since I rarely have time to make myself breakfast throughout the week. (Usually skip it which I know is bad, but I try to grab at least a banana or granola bar to eat on my way to school).

---

Omelette Ingredients: (serving for 1-2 people)
2 eggs
1 tomato (cherry tomatoes are good too)
1 baby bell pepper (doesn't matter what kind, red, orange)
1 onion (only used a tiny portion)
Cilantro
Any preferred greens
Salt & Pepper for taste
Milk (optional for fluffier eggs)
Meat (optional, but I didn't use any in this recipe)
Cheese
Avocado (optional) I love avocado, who doesn't? But sadly, I didn't have any ):
Olive oil or butter

---

Step 1:
Slice and dice vegetables.
I used half of the tomato, and a sliver of onion.

Step 2:
Beat eggs and add salt & pepper (and milk if you would like)

Step 3:
Butter or oil up the pan and add all the vegetables (leave cilantro for garnish) and sautée them for about 5 minutes on low-medium heat. Add in the eggs and cook on low-medium until egg is golden brown.

Step 4:
Slip onto plate, garnish with cheese, avocado, etc. and enjoy!
