Mint and Spring

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last fashion post, and I never had the chance to post my outfit from the other day, so I'll upload that one as well soon.

This week {in California} has had the perfect weather that every Californian knows and loves. Though chilly in the mornings, it cools down to nice fresh afternoons.

For today's #chicandunique ootd I really wanted to wear this beautiful mint floral dress from Urban Outfitters. This dress just screams Spring. Florals? Check. Pastel colors? Check. Cuteness? Double check! Haha, I really love the mint color (as well as any pastel colors). And pastels are a huge Spring trend (duh). Also, what girl doesn't love flowers? I think I may have an addiction to floral prints. Whoops.

Dress | Urban Outfitters
Necklace | American Eagle
Cardigan | Nordstrom

I paired the dress with a beige knit cardigan since it gets chilly in the mornings. (Also, the back of the dress is pretty revealing) I didn't wear any accessories besides dainty pearl earrings because I wanted the main focus to be the beauty of the dress. I also threw on a chestnut brown belt to match my boots as well as giving more shape to my body.

I Got that Summertime Sadness

Hey everyone! I've come to the realization that I'm not the most active blogger, but hey, school comes first. (Hence the major lag on posts and ootds) Anyway, today was my last day of school and I can't believe I survived another year of high school and finals! I'm excited and can't wait to go on adventures this summer.
What are you doing for summer?

Outfit:
Top: Urban Outfitters - Black Lace Crop Top
Maxi Skirt: Forever 21 - Floral Slit Maxi (From Santa Barbara Mini Haul)
Shoes: Pink Wedges (Not sure where from)

Accesories:
Sunnies: Forever 21

Makeup:
Face: Kat Von D's Lock-It Powder Foundation
NYC Cover Stick Concealer
Eyes: Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette
Lashes: Maybelline New York's
"The Mega Plush Volume Express" &
"The Colossal Volume Express" in waterproof
Lips: Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain

I really love the Megaslicks Balm Stain since it is a Lip stain and a lip balm, so not only does it give beautiful color, but also stays on for a long time without smudging!

To everyone getting out of school, have an amazing, safe summer! And to those still in school taking Finals, Good Luck!

Semi-Classy

Hi everyone, it's been a while since my last blog post and I apologize. I've been very busy with school, coming up with ideas for new blog posts, and of course - Procrastinating haha.

This is a late upload that I've been meaning to post, but never got the chance to so here is an outfit that I think is cute and classy, yet a little casual. Like semi-classy.

Outfit: The top I am wearing is a Lace Black Crop Top from Urban Outfitters. I love the lace print and absolutely love the deep "V" shape the top makes in the back. The floral skirt is from Forever 21. For school I wore some brown cutout oxfords (Since it would be kinda ridiculous to wear stilettos to school ha) to give it a more laid-back hipster look. But to class it up I put on these black velvet stilettos to tie the look together, giving it a more polished look.

Hair: For my hair, I was running late so I decided to throw it up in a bun, and I thought curling the whole thing would look too formal. So, I pulled out some fringe and quickly curled my bangs out of my face. This also gave the look a more casual vibe.

Vin et Fleures

 A Romantic Boho Chic Look

Outfit: The Burgundy Crop Top is from Urban Outfitters, originally $29, but on sale for $9. I love how soft and flowy this top is. It compliments the skirt very well, giving it that pop of color and a more softer look overall. The Floral Slit Maxi Skirt is from Forever 21. Sunflowers and Daisy's - or just floral print in general, is a big hit for Spring 2014. Floral prints easily give off that sweet, romantic, flirty look. Plus, what girl doesn't love flowers?

Accessories: Since I am wearing a very detailed clothing item, I decided not to wear much accessories, but a headpiece that I totally love and got a couple of summers ago. I got this beautiful headpiece at Urban Outfitters for about $4, I believe. I think it adds on more of a boho chic vibe.

Sweet Sixteen

Hi everyone, yesterday, March 25, 2014 was a pretty big day for me; My 16th birthday! (I know this is late, but better late than never.) Also thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes! XoXo

Here was my Birthday Outfit of the Day.

I have always admired Kimonos and always wanted one, and I finally did over Spring Break. My lovely Kimono is from Forever 21, and I love how it gives off that soft, romantic look. Also, I love how it is very flowy, and what girl doesn't like flowers?

My dress is also from Forever 21, and it is a beautiful pale pink color - Pastels are in for spring. This dress also has lace cutout details on the sides, which I think adds a cute, flirty, and sassy side to the dress (Though it is covered by the Kimono).

My Silver, Diamond, and Gold necklace was a previous Birthday gift, also worn in my first post. In addition to accessories, I wore a diamond ring accompanied with a pearl ring. Last, can't neglect the ears, so I accessorized by continuing with the floral theme with some rose earrings.

My cutout shoes, I believe, are from WetSeal. I love how they are sort of edgy by all of the cutouts and shapes on the sides.

Overall, I went for a romantic, soft chic type of outfit, and I think I accomplished it with the soft color palette of the pastels, along with the flow of the kimono.

Comment what you would like to see next!
 Happy Wednesday! XoXo
