Yin x Yang

Hey guys! Long time no blog! I apologize for the lack of posts.

Outfit:
Top: Forever 21 - White crop top with black stripes I believe was $7.80
Skirt: Forever 21 and was $8.80
Shoes: White Converse

Accessories:
Sunnies: Forever 21 and was $5.80

For this outfit I kept things very simple and basic. Very casual yet sort of a classy illusion from the black and white. This outfit's perfect if you want to look cute and presentable, but very laid-back and effortless at the same time.
This whole outfit (excluding the shoes) was all a part of a small haul I did back in Santa Barbara over the weekend. I will also do another post consisting of my mini "vacation" and small haul for when I was in
 Santa Barbara and Ventura.

Semi-Classy

Hi everyone, it's been a while since my last blog post and I apologize. I've been very busy with school, coming up with ideas for new blog posts, and of course - Procrastinating haha.

This is a late upload that I've been meaning to post, but never got the chance to so here is an outfit that I think is cute and classy, yet a little casual. Like semi-classy.

Outfit: The top I am wearing is a Lace Black Crop Top from Urban Outfitters. I love the lace print and absolutely love the deep "V" shape the top makes in the back. The floral skirt is from Forever 21. For school I wore some brown cutout oxfords (Since it would be kinda ridiculous to wear stilettos to school ha) to give it a more laid-back hipster look. But to class it up I put on these black velvet stilettos to tie the look together, giving it a more polished look.

Hair: For my hair, I was running late so I decided to throw it up in a bun, and I thought curling the whole thing would look too formal. So, I pulled out some fringe and quickly curled my bangs out of my face. This also gave the look a more casual vibe.

Vin et Fleures

 A Romantic Boho Chic Look

Outfit: The Burgundy Crop Top is from Urban Outfitters, originally $29, but on sale for $9. I love how soft and flowy this top is. It compliments the skirt very well, giving it that pop of color and a more softer look overall. The Floral Slit Maxi Skirt is from Forever 21. Sunflowers and Daisy's - or just floral print in general, is a big hit for Spring 2014. Floral prints easily give off that sweet, romantic, flirty look. Plus, what girl doesn't love flowers?

Accessories: Since I am wearing a very detailed clothing item, I decided not to wear much accessories, but a headpiece that I totally love and got a couple of summers ago. I got this beautiful headpiece at Urban Outfitters for about $4, I believe. I think it adds on more of a boho chic vibe.

Maxi Meets Military

Hi everyone! Today's outfit is a Simple Boho / Casual type of look.

The Dress that I am wearing is from Forever 21, and I got it for $12.
Maxi dresses are perfect for Spring and Summer; They flow beautifully whenever the wind hits it.

The Outfit: This Maxi dress had Navy Blue and White Stripes for detail. Simple and cute.
Now this dress is already cute by itself, but since school dress-code called, I threw on this Military Jacket from Target since a Cardigan would have probably been too much. For shoes I went with some black sandals with gold studs on them, though the dress covers them. To make the look less girly, substitute the sandals for Combat boots. (This was my first option, but 80 degree California weather plus combats did not sound good!)

Accessories: Now here I decided to be bold and creative by wearing two different necklaces. (Yes, dare to be different.) The first necklace I am wearing is a simple Pearl necklace, and the second, is a necklace that I've worn in my other two blog posts haha. I guess you can say I like that necklace. For hand candy I am wearing a Pearl/Diamond ring just to keep the pearls on my neck company.

Hair: For my hair, I just curled it and gently brushed it out to give out a more soft wave, rather than structured curls. To make the look more boho, an alternative would be to rock a bun.

Makeup: I kept the makeup pretty neutral using my UD Naked Basics Palette accompanied by mascara, and skipped the eyeliner. For lips, (though you can barely tell since the camera washed the color) I wore my all time favorite 16 Hour NYC Lip stain in 499 Forever Mine Wine. I've been wearing this color everyday, and it's a lovely wine color. You can also build the intensity of the color, and it really does stay on for a long time!

Anyways, this California whether is getting crazy! Too hot over here and it's not even Summer yet!
Well I hope you enjoyed this post. Please comment and share! XoXo

Sweet Sixteen

Hi everyone, yesterday, March 25, 2014 was a pretty big day for me; My 16th birthday! (I know this is late, but better late than never.) Also thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes! XoXo

Here was my Birthday Outfit of the Day.

I have always admired Kimonos and always wanted one, and I finally did over Spring Break. My lovely Kimono is from Forever 21, and I love how it gives off that soft, romantic look. Also, I love how it is very flowy, and what girl doesn't like flowers?

My dress is also from Forever 21, and it is a beautiful pale pink color - Pastels are in for spring. This dress also has lace cutout details on the sides, which I think adds a cute, flirty, and sassy side to the dress (Though it is covered by the Kimono).

My Silver, Diamond, and Gold necklace was a previous Birthday gift, also worn in my first post. In addition to accessories, I wore a diamond ring accompanied with a pearl ring. Last, can't neglect the ears, so I accessorized by continuing with the floral theme with some rose earrings.

My cutout shoes, I believe, are from WetSeal. I love how they are sort of edgy by all of the cutouts and shapes on the sides.

Overall, I went for a romantic, soft chic type of outfit, and I think I accomplished it with the soft color palette of the pastels, along with the flow of the kimono.

Comment what you would like to see next!
 Happy Wednesday! XoXo

First Clothing HAUL

Hi everyone! So a couple of days ago, I stopped by at Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 and bought a bunch of lovely clothes and decided to do my first Clothing Haul!

*Urban Outfitters was having a Grand Re-Opening and I found tons beautiful clothes along with good deals.

These Short Woven Denim Washed Shorts I got at Forever 21 for a price of $8.80
I love how the waste-band is stretchy which makes it comfortable while the material of the shorts give it that fashionable look.

These Black Corduroy High Wasted Shorts are from Urban Outfitters which were originally $49, but I got on sale for $9.99.

This is a Burgundy crop top that I got at Urban as well. This was originally $29, but got it on sale for $9.99. I love how this top had light-weight material and was flowy - perfect for Spring!

Now I am in love with this top from Urban originally $69 on sale for $9.99! The sequins give this top a nice sparkle and you can pair this with some shorts if you'd like a casual look, or if you're going out on a fancy date, pair it with a nice skirt to dress it up.

I don't have much plain white tops, so when I saw this crop top I had to get it. I love the gold zipper and think it gives the top a more chic look. This was originally $29, but on sale for $9.99

And last, an early Birthday present I received from my aunt; the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette.
This my first eye shadow palette and I'm just in love with all of the gorgeous matte colors.

Comment if you guys would like to see an OOTD or a makeup tutorial using the Naked Basics Palette!
Happy Sunday, xoxo
