Finals & Fashion Friday

Hey everyone! Long time no post right? Well all the stress, studying and late nights for AP testing and Finals is finally over, and school is finally out which means more posts and maybe starting a Youtube Channel!! Yay! My youtube channel will mostly feature lookbooks, occasional DIYs, I'm not completely sure, but it hopefully should be a fashion/lifestyle channel. (Everything is still in the working, but I've been thinking about making one for the longest time.)

Anyways, back to the post. Yes, finally school is out, and I survived another year of high school. I finished my junior year, and I finally get to say I'm a senior! The (supposedly) best year of high school! Ahh, I'm so excited, nervous, happy, sad - every emotion - just excited to being closer to the end of high school and moving on into the real world and pursuing my dreams.

Back to the OOTD. I wanted to look chic (of course) but be comfortable at the same time by adding a casual flare by throwing on this denim shirt. The dress itself is simple, but beautiful! I love the color, and the floral detailing at the top. It's very girly and flirty. I added a braided belt to add more texture to the plain dress and to prevent me from looking too boxy. This outfit is perfect for lunch with the girls, a casual date, school, anywhere! Just remember to work it!

Pencil Skirt Posh

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post. I didn't get to upload this the other day due to circumstances, but here's a late #FashionFriday #ootd

Pencil skirts have made their way up the fashion world lately, and I love the class they add to a look.
pencil skirts aren't just for the outfit, and with this look, I show one of the many ways to dress down or dress up a pencil skirt without looking like a corporate employee. If you aren't into the whole "dressed up" look, you can make the outfit more edgier by buying different texture/material, or prints. You can even pair the skirt with vintage printed shirt, a plain white tee for extra casualness, or even a slouchy sweater for the fall. The possibilities and outfits are endless!

---

I am in love with this color scheme - especially the color of my top!
The back (not photographed, sadly) is a laced back, which adds a very cute and flirty touch.
Peplum blouses are great because they slim down the waist line, especially with a belt to extenuate even more.

Pencil skirts works on most body types, but if you're pear shaped, opt for a skirt that lands above the knee, rather than around the calf area.

I wear this necklace very often, but I do love the beaded design.
Very simple, yet it gives a complex and gorgeous style overall.

Remember to be confident, and work that pencil skirt!

Boho Babe Series X Peasant Top

Hey everyone! This is the second outfit in my #BohoBabeSeries This look is perfect for Spring and Summer. It's casual, yet flirty.

Outfit Idea #2: Peasant Top X Jeans
I was also thinking of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" song when writing about this outfit lol! 'Blue jeans, White shirt, walked into the room you know you made my eyes burn..." haha. Anyways, back to the outfit!

Distressed, or "Ripped Jeans" are a Bohemian closet staple.
These jeans are from American Eagle and are super comfortable!

Peasant Tops are very comfortable and pretty loose, allowing you to feel light and free throughout the day.
I am in love this off-shoulder top with crotchet detailing.

Okay now, I may or may not be obsessed with these tattoos.
These are temporary glitter tattoos, (I think that's what these are called, lol)
Regardless, these come in various cute designs that can substitute for jewelry and act as an accessory on their own!
I rarely wear bracelets because they always tend to fall off my tiny wrists,
but I loved the subtle colors on these which also matched my necklace.

Semi-Classy

Hi everyone, it's been a while since my last blog post and I apologize. I've been very busy with school, coming up with ideas for new blog posts, and of course - Procrastinating haha.

This is a late upload that I've been meaning to post, but never got the chance to so here is an outfit that I think is cute and classy, yet a little casual. Like semi-classy.

Outfit: The top I am wearing is a Lace Black Crop Top from Urban Outfitters. I love the lace print and absolutely love the deep "V" shape the top makes in the back. The floral skirt is from Forever 21. For school I wore some brown cutout oxfords (Since it would be kinda ridiculous to wear stilettos to school ha) to give it a more laid-back hipster look. But to class it up I put on these black velvet stilettos to tie the look together, giving it a more polished look.

Hair: For my hair, I was running late so I decided to throw it up in a bun, and I thought curling the whole thing would look too formal. So, I pulled out some fringe and quickly curled my bangs out of my face. This also gave the look a more casual vibe.

Vin et Fleures

 A Romantic Boho Chic Look

Outfit: The Burgundy Crop Top is from Urban Outfitters, originally $29, but on sale for $9. I love how soft and flowy this top is. It compliments the skirt very well, giving it that pop of color and a more softer look overall. The Floral Slit Maxi Skirt is from Forever 21. Sunflowers and Daisy's - or just floral print in general, is a big hit for Spring 2014. Floral prints easily give off that sweet, romantic, flirty look. Plus, what girl doesn't love flowers?

Accessories: Since I am wearing a very detailed clothing item, I decided not to wear much accessories, but a headpiece that I totally love and got a couple of summers ago. I got this beautiful headpiece at Urban Outfitters for about $4, I believe. I think it adds on more of a boho chic vibe.

Sweet Sixteen

Hi everyone, yesterday, March 25, 2014 was a pretty big day for me; My 16th birthday! (I know this is late, but better late than never.) Also thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes! XoXo

Here was my Birthday Outfit of the Day.

I have always admired Kimonos and always wanted one, and I finally did over Spring Break. My lovely Kimono is from Forever 21, and I love how it gives off that soft, romantic look. Also, I love how it is very flowy, and what girl doesn't like flowers?

My dress is also from Forever 21, and it is a beautiful pale pink color - Pastels are in for spring. This dress also has lace cutout details on the sides, which I think adds a cute, flirty, and sassy side to the dress (Though it is covered by the Kimono).

My Silver, Diamond, and Gold necklace was a previous Birthday gift, also worn in my first post. In addition to accessories, I wore a diamond ring accompanied with a pearl ring. Last, can't neglect the ears, so I accessorized by continuing with the floral theme with some rose earrings.

My cutout shoes, I believe, are from WetSeal. I love how they are sort of edgy by all of the cutouts and shapes on the sides.

Overall, I went for a romantic, soft chic type of outfit, and I think I accomplished it with the soft color palette of the pastels, along with the flow of the kimono.

Comment what you would like to see next!
 Happy Wednesday! XoXo
