San Diego

Hello everyone! Last weekend I took a long car ride down south to the beautiful city of San Diego! Five long hours of sitting in the car, L.A. Traffic, uneasy sleeping positions, and limited bathroom breaks all so I could experience the lively city of San Diego for the first time. Yes, first time.

This mini vaca. consisted of mostly many different food trips - scouting the city, guided by a family friend, to devour the most delicious and popular foods of San Diego.

Tapioca Express
Greatest boba ever!

Left to right: Strawberry boba and Mango boba
Shoutout to lipstick stains on straws haha

3) Nolbu

Bulgogi Fries

4)
Tajima's Japanese Ramen

Miso Ramen

5) Fisherman's Market
Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad because I was too full to get anything else from all the eating done earlier and the day before! Haha

6) - DESERT at Up 2 You Cafe
Honey Toast and Mango Green Tea Boba
I had the strawberry with nutella honey toast and I had to say, although I probably had gotten diabetes, it was worth it! Haha, seriously though this place is genius and madly delicious if you have a sweet tooth.

7) Cody's La Jolla for Brekkie
Cute and delicious restuarant with organic meals.

Bacon and Cheddar Omelette with Avocado on top (everything's better with avocados

8) And on our last day of our trip, we stopped by at Boiling Point in Irvine.
The soup comes to you literally boiling, because it is set on fire once set on the table. (You can choose when you want to put out the flame) And of course we had to get the tumblr and Instagram famous ice cream Macarons!! (which were amazingly delicious).

I've never felt this way about a macaron before lol

Neutrals & Pop of Color

Hello everyone! I know it's been two weeks since my last post, and I skipped Fashion Friday. ): Sorry about that, these past few weeks have been hectic in and out of school, but I promise that I will post more because I will be traveling down south for the weekend. That should mean more OOTD's, and maybe top hot spots! Anyways, I hope you all like this look, and I apologize again for the lack of posts.

---

Lately, I've been in love with wearing neutrals with a pop of color! The look is the perfect balance of dressy, yet casual. I really like this look because I, too, get lazy to entirely dress up, but still want to turn heads. For a even more laid-back look you can switch the skirt and go for an asymmetrical skort. (Asymmetrical skorts are one of my go-to's if you want to look "girly", but still want to feel fashionable and comfortable.)

Blouse | Forever 21
Skirt | Nordstrom
Bracelet | Forever 21
Aunt's Closet
Belt | H&M

I threw on this black and white striped blazer to give the outfit a more prepped up look. The blouse is simple, yet beautiful. I love the detailing at the top aligned with gold buttons. I paired the belt with a black belt to give myself more shape. I think mixing different textures and materials are very creative and beautiful. So, I used this lovely black and white floral purse for accessory along with a simple pearl bracelet and this gorgeous red and gold necklace.

Lace & Pastels

Hello everyone! I've decided that I'm going to make #FashionFridays happen. Every Friday I will try and post a new OOTD, Style Steal, Latest Trends, and anything else fashion related.

Today's look consists of very different pieces. Different fabrics, colors, anything that you would never really think to be 'normal', but mixing and matching different things could actually turn out to be very chic and unique. (Ooh that rhymed) New hashtag or motto? #Chic&Unique I'm feeling it haha.

It's been warming up a little in California and Spring is going to be here before we know it. I'm excited for the upcoming Spring Trends (not so excited for Allergy season though). This outfit is a classy and beautiful introduction to February and warming of the weather.

Top | Nordstrom
Skirt | New York & Company
(Which I got a good deal on - 60% off!)
Purse | Kate Spade NY
Earrings | Lauren Conrad
A little Candid pic haha
Necklace | Aunt's Closet

For this look I paired this beautiful white blouse with pearls aligned the top with this blue and baby blue skirt from New York & Company. Two different fabrics, but once beautiful ensemble altogether. I added a brown braided belt to tie the look better together and to make my waistline more smaller and give more shape to my body. For the shoes I am wearing some brown and white wedges that I've had for a long time now. As for accessories I chose to wear a pastel coral necklace to compliment the skirt since orange and blue are complimentary colors.

I'm thinking of making a Valentines Lookbook. Should I? Leave a comment for any style requests and let me know what you're looking forward to this month!

Violet Harmon Inspired OOTD

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lag on posts, I've been extra busy these past few weeks with school.

Regardless of my hectic schedule, I really wanted to post this outfit of the day inspired by one of my all time favorite characters, Violet Harmon, from American Horror Story.

Violet has a very unique style and I decided to put a twist on her style by incorporating my vision of design into hers. Her style incorporates vintage with a bit of grunge twist, as well as classy, yet casual. Her clothing consists of a lot of layers, putting different patterns together, tights, and combat boots or converse.

Hat | H&M

Cardigan | H&M
Dress | Forever 21
Socks | American Apparel
Shoes | Urban Outfitters
This outfit was inspired from the Pilot episode of AHS where Violet wore a long Floral dress with a Burgundy Sweatshirt underneath and a mustard-yellow cardigan on top. She paired the ensemble with some black oxfords. To make my outfit more like Violet's, (yet still keeping my own touches) I wore a floral dress of my own, a burgundy cardigan, and paired it with some knee-high socks. To complete the look I of course had to top everything off with some oxfords and a fun black hat.

I love Violet's style (as well as most of the characters on each season of AHS) because it is very different, and she doesn't care about others' opinions. I will be posting an American Horror Story: Coven Lookbook soon, so stay in tune for more outfits and different styles! Which is your favorite character and season from American Horror Story?

Monochrome & Red Wine

Hey everyone! Finally, here is my first Outfit of the Day post of 2015! I know, I know, it's been a year and I'm sorry about that. Can't blame me for being lazy (aren't we all?) After all, I'm only human, and a girl's gotta have a life outside of the internet also! This was my first week back to school after a long, relaxing, and exhilarating winter break. [And I made it out alive haha] It was a long week, but I managed to throw in some ootd's on Instagram, (Link below), and had some great opportunities given to me, such as getting offered a job! Anyways, here are some pictures of today's look.

Coat: Forever 21
Sweater: Sister's Closet (Hi Abby lol)
White Blouse: Forever 21
Red Wine Skort: Forever 21
Tights: Present from Aunt
Purse: Kate Spade Christmas Present (Hi Auntie Jen)
Earrings: Lauren Conrad

I love how simplistic, yet classy this outfit looks. I used monochromatic colors (A big Winter trend according to Vogue), with a pop of color - the Red Wine Skort. To keep warm I stacked on layers from top to bottom, and wore my favorite Charcoal boots. I love to mix and match patterns and textures as well as colors to come out with a beautiful and unique ensemble.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Have fun and stay safe. xoxo

2015 & New Beginnings

Hello everyone! I know it has been a very long time since my last blog post, (it's already a new year!) and I apologize for that. I have been very busy with school, family, and life outside of the internet haha. I am going to try to start posting a lot more as well as renovate my blog to be aesthetically pleasing. I have been thinking for the longest time, and I would love to boost my blogging skills and motivate myself the become a much better and active blogger. With that being said, I came up with some personal aspirations that I would like to accomplish for Ace Allure this year:

  • Post [at least] weekly
  • Gain more viewers/followers
  • Collaborate with other bloggers
  • And most importantly to inspire my followers

The road to my goals aren't going to be perfect, but I'm hoping that it'll be a high road and that many opportunities and inspiration will come along the way. Thanks for still sticking with me guys, and have a great Friday & safe weekend!
